REFUND, RETURN, CANCELATION POLICY
At Village Haat®, we are committed to ensuring a seamless experience for every transaction on our website. Our products are delivered with the utmost care, adhering to the highest quality standards. Please do understand slight irregularities are inherent to the process of creating traditional hand-woven piece. Instead of taking away from the beauty of the product, they enhance its uniqueness and charm. The irregularities attest to the fact that it is a genuine, handcrafted product and a result of hard work of artisans working day and night for days to create a piece.
Domestic & International Orders:
Returns & Exchanges are accepted only under specific circumstances, such as the wrongful delivery of a product (if it doesn't match the item in the order confirmation). In such cases, we will re-fulfil your order with the same or a similar product after reviewing the issue within a specific time frame (see customer care below).
Due to the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide a resolution for any situation as we deem fit. Each return or exchange request is handled on a case-by-case basis, and we encourage you to reach out to our customer care for prompt resolution.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow returns & exchanges under any other circumstances. Customers are requested to verify and review orders, including colors, sizes, quantities, etc., of textiles/garments/objects before placing the order.
No refunds will be given if the customer has provided a wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency, and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
Products bought online cannot be exchanged or returned in-store.
Purchases made during sales/discounts, & altered are not eligible for any return or exchange.
Before accepting delivery of any merchandise, please ensure that it is in good condition and has not been tampered with. If you receive a damaged package, please retain the original packaging until our insurance adjuster surveys the damage.
Additionally, mention details about the damaged merchandise on the delivery receipt instead of signing it as 'received.'
Exchange Outside India
Unfortunately, at this moment, we do not permit any returns or exchanges for international orders, unless the product is damaged or defective, or if merchandise delivered is different from what you had ordered.
In an exceptional case to case basis, if a customer can facilitate the return of goods in India, at an address from where a pickup can be arranged through our courier partner, within 90 days from merchandise delivery, we are happy to facilitate an exchange for the customer. Shipping charges may be applicable in case, exchanged merchandise requires international shipping.
Customer Care:
To return or exchange a wrongfully delivered product, please contact our customer care within 24 hours of delivery.
Share your order number, date of transaction, delivery address, and an image of the wrongfully delivered or defective item with our customer care.
Items will be considered for store credit/exchange/refund only if it is unused and with all tags still attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
In any case, once the refund approved. We pay the refund amount deducting banking charges within 7 working days in original payment mode. Or into store credit.
